Mesmerize your family and friends with an original three-dimensional still life painting using wool, you read that right, WOOL! In this one-day workshop, Bay Area Fiber Artist, Galina Moskovkina will demonstrate traditional techniques using this versatile medium with inspiration from a staged still life. Students will explore these new approaches to the art of painting and will create a 12” x 16” original piece of work to take home.
Required Materials for Students to Bring: Photo Frame (with glass) Size 12"x16", and sharp scissors.
About the Instructor:
Galina’s infatuation with art began in early childhood and continued into adulthood challenging herself to push the boundaries in painting using wool fiber as her medium. Inspired by the versatility of wool, Galina incorporates a unique process of creating original works of art by layering different colors and surface manipulation to create representations of landscapes, still life floral arrangements, and more.Date and Time
